Principal's Message

As Principal, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year.

As your new school leader, I am extremely honored to serve our great community. As a product of this community, it is with unmatched passion and dedication that I serve you.

It is a privilege to build the rich traditions of excellence that will exist at The U in academics and in our exceptional dual enrollment program. I encourage all of our students to become involved with school activities, make a commitment to academic excellence, and be a change agent to the special spirit that exists on our beautiful campus.

At University Pathways Public Service Academy (The U), we truly believe all students can achieve and succeed! As a professional staff, we consider ourselves family, and we take pride in providing the highest quality education. Academic achievement, student success, and campus safety are our highest priorities here at The U. The staff is committed to setting high standards and maintaining the best educational environment for all students. As a staff, we are driven by a commitment to excellence. We expect all our students to make a personal commitment to uphold our Core Principles of unity, continuous improvement, integrity, and collective work and responsibility.

I am looking forward to seeing our future police officers, firefighters, lawyers, educational leaders, politicians, military leaders, and hard-working contributors to our community that will be produced each year here at The U. Our goal is to create school of excellence. Taking our place along side of the finest high schools in the nation, The U excels academically and socially. We pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of courses that challenge our student body. Our staff of professionals holds our students to the highest standards. I am encouraged that many of our students will earn acceptance letters to the finest universities.

This school year, I encourage you to face and overcome the obstacles blocking your success. If you need help, ask for it. The discipline of showing up every day, maintaining a good attitude, and trying your best is a winning combination for success. I challenge you to be a social change agent for our school community! Again, it is truly an honor to be the Principal of this tremendous school. We are a family of committed professionals who work extremely hard to provide every student the opportunity to learn and persevere. I look forward to working alongside all stakeholders in order to help our students graduate career and college ready.
